| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Jun 23, 2007 33 cl bottle, ’bbe’ 2008? Murky red-brown beer with a small, lacy beige head. Sweet-sour nose with honey, chocolate and a background of dark malts. Rather sour taste, fruity - orange, ’sirop de Liège - with a strong malty note - the malty component is aromatic, very much like Abbaye des Rocs Brune (Munich...?). Chocolate retronasally. Syrupy body. A quite typical Regenboog product. Hugh (129), Breda, Netherlands
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 5/5 | 14/20 | Jun 22, 2007 Bottle: Muddy brown beer. First sip is quite shocking - what on earth is this? Is it meant to be like this? Massive flavours struggle against each other. All things at once. Having finished the bottle, I would have had a second, really just to try and make more sense of the assault of flavours. Is this a recommendation? presario (2987), Calgary, Alberta, Canada

Nutty and slight caramellish aroma with some dry fruitiness to it. Taste is quite dry, malty and slight bitter, dominated by acidic fruits and unripe berries. Healthy body. Sourish end. Reminds my of dry version of a Norwegian Juleøl. Yum! Sregnar35 (730), Rotterdam, New York, USA
