Bottle @ Brugs Beertje. Pours unclear dark reddish/brown with a medium-sized tan head. Nutty and slight caramellish aroma with some dry fruitiness to it. Taste is quite dry, malty and slight bitter, dominated by acidic fruits and unripe berries. Healthy body. Sourish end. Reminds my of dry version of a Norwegian Juleøl. Yum!

On tap at Mahars. Poured a flat brown, ugly beer. Aroma very full, brown sugar and yeasty bread. Flavor like devils food cake, tasty like cherries.

Draft @ Gravity Head: Pours a murky red-brown with a fair head. The nose is delicate, noting a decent hay-straw-cereal-caramel character. Soft flowery hops join lots of residual sweetness in the body. Bubble gum, honey and brown sugar came to mind. Seemed to be a slight sourness in the finish.

Cloudy amber body with small off-white head. The aroma is vinous, honey, bread and toffee. The flavor is golden raisins, carmel and honey. Medium/full body with soft carbonation.

Draft. Sweet and fruity, the nose on this strong ale is filled with caramel, toffee, raisin with notes of lemon and alcohol. The brown body is cloudy. The flavor is moderately to heavily sweet with a moderate tartness. Tastes of plums, cherries and lemon. Medium body. Nice.

Dark brown, golden, lasting head. Guiodo has been added raisins, candy sugar and honey, and the aroma has slightly sour fruity notes. The flavour is sweetish and nicely balanced by bitterness. It has notes of dried fruit, candy sugar and citrus. It’s nice, but not outstanding.

bottle, uto. Difficult to tell the colour as light ceases to penetrate it, but it’s dark - mahogany with a thick tan head. Nice lace. Smells oddly like smoked cheese, but berries and sugar cane dominate. Vinous taste. Loads of grapes, blackberries, raisins and cranberry. Finish of unripened berries and sweet spices. Creamy texture. Medium body. Overall it’s good, but I don’t quite know what to make of it. It’s a little too busy. Reminds me a bit of Circus Fantome.
