Hazy, amber to brown body. Off-white rocky orval-like head. The aroma reminds me of a factory making animal fodder, which has a very cloyingly sweet aroma. Just like breathing glucose. There are hops and flowers too in the aroma. Lightly sweet, moderately bitter flavour. Has some funkiness of a flemish sour ale. Very well balanced and extra ordinary flavour. Well done. I need to get my hands on more of this.

[Bottle. Bought at Salone Birra Milano 2006] A sort of honey flavored, sour ale. Reddish cloudy amber color complex aroma with yeast, banana, clover. Taste is subtly sweet with honey, fruits and a pleasant tartiness in the finish. Smooth mouthfeel, full body. Bitterness low to medium, slightly more apparent in the finish. Very balanced taste, very attractive and original brew.

Bottled Brugs de’ Beertje 03-11-05. Pours a slighly hazy light brown colour with slightly scummy head. Slighly sour in taste with malts and dried fruits in there, ok.

Bottle. Hazy amber colour with an off-white head. Malty yeasty aroma. Malty fruity flavor with some hints of sourness. Warming alcohol in the aftertaste.
