Pours a dark cloudy amber with a bubbling off white head, with strong sweet notes for honey and fruit, with medium body and a hint of malt flavor. Good when taken slow.

Pours dark amber with off white head that disappears immediately. Strong aroma of raisins. Sweet flavor of raisins and honey with underlying sourness. Medium body with tingly carbonation. This is a wierd one.

33 cl bottle - Pours a cloudy amber with with a pure white head. The aroma is of fruits and sugary molassess. It has a deep complexity of flavors. It starts off tangy, mellowing into a dried fruit, somewhat of a tobacco note, and finishing in a sweet, syrupy caramel note. It is a full bodied beer that would stand up to rich food, dessert, or standing by itself as an evening drink.

A very good "alone" beer with a nice heavy (raisin’s, honey, and spices) taste. Very good cool weather ale. Wouldn’t over-do and should be enjoyed.

Bottle 33cl @ Home.
Clear medium to dark red amber color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, berry, moderate yeasty, moderate to heavy raisin - dryed prune. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and light to moderate bitter, with some berry sour notes, a long to average duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft, finish feel is light alcoholic. (130708)

Savannah, Ga. - Habersham Beverage Warehouse - 11.2 oz bottle. Dark orange, murky pour with a long lasting slightly sticky white head. Molasses based aroma with hints of dates and raisins. Chewy flavor with some mead-like qualities - probably from the honey. Raisins, Christmas spices and a dash of caramel and a lip smacking sourness. Thickish mouthfeel. Not an everyday beer - but an interesting diversion.
