This was...kinda bad actually Very heavy and sweet, almost to the point of being syrupy. Some pumpkin or begetal flavors, a very unpleasent medicinal note. Thank goodness for 4 oz pours... | 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Nov 13, 2009 The "vegetable" is pumpkin, by the way, which I thought was a fruit, but I could be wrong.
Appearance was glow-in-the-dark orange with no head.
Smell was like a glass of orange juice, maybe some othe fruits in the background.
Taste had light spice, fair amount of malt with lots of acidity, and a very sour finish.
Overall, interesting. Pumpkin was, thankfully, not too obvious. madmitch76 (645), , Essex, England

| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 13/20 | Sep 22, 2009 Bottle labeled as Speciaal Halloween. Pours a lightly hazy, rusty amber hue.
Copious streams of effervescing bubbles screech towards the surface,
feeding a steady head of smooth, taupe colored foam. Clingy foam tries to hold fast on the glass, but fails, returning to the body. Aromas are sweet, driven by golden raisin and stewed nectarines, with perhaps a bit of caramelized, condensed peaches. Flavors are also heavy, sweet, and dessert like, mostly showing condensed, dried fruit like raisin, fig, and plum. The body is big and syrupy, yet lively carbonated and
somewhat prickly. Eh, this one is just a sugar bomb. It’s decent in very small quantities, but i won’t be clamoring for more any time soon. ChristianScheffel (4557), Odense, Denmark

| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | May 28, 2009 bottle at Delirium in Brussels - Pours hazy straw colored with a thin white head. The flavor is sweet with caramel and lots of spice. It’s bubbly on the palate and has some light hops bitterness in the finish. The high abv is mostly buried. It’s alright though I was hoping for a bit more.
