Tad bit of grapes. Taste is a nice combo of honey, hops, and malt with some fruit mixed in. Clean tasting and quite nice. DewBrewer (272), Austin, Texas, USA

The aroma has some sourness, yeast, berry, & orange. The flavor is apple, tart (lactic), & some honey. It is quite carbonated & refreshing. The carbonation brings out the beautiful aroma and flavor. Great beer Johan! Skinnyviking (4171), Copenhagen, Denmark

Hazy dark orange body looking as if it has a lheavy carbonation. Honey aroma of course but also caramel butter and hops plus a bit of spices. Promising. First impression of the flavor is that it is indeed dominated by a heavy carbonation. Apart from that the beer is characterised by fruity although a bit acidic notes with a fair amount of hops bitterness and some caramel to sweeten it. Long bittersweet aftertaste. What a pleasure ! | 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Jan 12, 2004 Hazy orange; slim yellowish head, very stable. Nice - there's Brett in the nose (J.B. is going to die!); fruity (citrus, rosehips) and a touch of honey (because I know?). Very nice, aromatic & fruity nose, faint spices and garden fruit. Certain acidity, again fruity in character, very pleasing; not bitterish enough to be called tart. No honey detectable, I'm afraid. Medium bodied, acidity makes it light & refreshing. very pleasing beer - just still searching for that honey. MartinT (5073), Montreal, Quebec, Canada
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | May 26, 2004 Plump honey and powerful spices in the aroma with a light vinous zing...That honey disappears though in the palate, buried under a cohesive heap of flower petals, orange zest and yeast...Sweet peachy malt in ample quantities makes for a hugely satisfying body and fruity acidity rushes up the palate but finishes sadly too fast...Herbal bitterness remains herald an interesting moment well-spent in yet another wild De Regenboog creation... Hazy orange-amber color, with medium white head. Aroma spices, malts, fruits. Medium body. Taste refreshing, fruits, malts, very little honey, yeasts. Finish malts and yeast. thebeertourist (2822), Oslo, Norway
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Jan 12, 2008 Bottle. Cloudy, orangey amber with a medium head. Complex honey and floral yeast aroma. Sweet honey flavours which come out quite complex with a lot of spice character. Honey beer may not be my favourite style, but this beer goes beyond cloying sweetness. I would not mind another one. jbrus (4895), Delft, Netherlands
