The aroma starts off strong, loaded with spices and light hops. It weakens once the head dies down. The flavor has a lot of zest, with plenty of spices and medium malts, with hints of caramel. Finish is quick, without much ado. Pretty nice, though not as good as some others from this brewery. Palidor19 (1798), Brandon, Florida, USA

| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 11/20 | Oct 3, 2007 The aroma is fruity, yeasty, spicy, and malty. The appearance is hazy amber with a nice foamy head. The flavor is like the aroma with a flat finish. The palate is typical for the style. Overall it’s not bad but not great. | 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Sep 23, 2007 Dirty deep gold. Nose fruity, quite spicy as well. Flavor is nicely sweet up-front, fruity with oranges and apples, then dry at the end. Alcohol noticeable, but not overpowering. Nice. RblWthACoz (963), Brooklyn, New York, USA
| 4.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 9/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Sep 21, 2007 Pours an evenly clouded amber gold with a touch of brown. Nose is alcohol with a fruit tone. Flavor is spicy (not as in spicy hot, but spicy from the spices that are obviously there). Milder sweet tone. Alcohol nibbles on you just a small amount before disappearing. Feel is good. Decent level of carbonation and overall definitely drinkable. Jerre (1768), Waregem, Belgium
