100th rating for this beer. Pretty cool. Pours a plum color body with a small white head that is quick to vacate the party. Leaves a white ring on top of the beer. Medium lacing coats the sides of the glass. Aromas of dark fruits, plums, rum, fruit bread, yeast, spices. A little hot on the nose. Flavors of rum, malts, sweet fruits, plums, bread, spices. Light bodied to medium bodied, sticky on the palate. Finish is short to medium in length, dry and with the alcohol notes really coming through at the end. Finishes big with the rum soaked fruit flavors. Interesting beer.

Bottle. Poured a hazy brown with an average frothy light brown head that was mostly lasted and produced good lacing. Heavy malt, dark fruit and alcohol aroma. Medium to full body with a sticky texture. Full balanced fruity bittersweet flavor with the same long finish with a very small alcohol tone. Good well balanced warmng brew.

Cloudy orange color, yeast aroma, lots of carbonation. Palate is that of Champagne. Citrus flavor upon first swallow than mild hoppiness with a tad bit too much yeastiness for my take

Pours a cloudy orangish brown color with a decent tan head and big lacing. Aroma of malty sweetness with a little bit of alcohol. Smooth, malty, full bodied flavor. Slight citrus, yeast, and bread flavors. Faint, faint, faint alcohol on the backside. Would like the flavors to be a little more pronounced but otherwise a very nice belgian. Thanks to drewbeerme.

Rich Cloudy Brown Color with Creamy Head. Sweet Malt, Dry Dark Bread, Spice and Yeast Notes Fill Your Nose. Creamy, Soft and Sharp is the Mouthfeel. Tasting Notes of Sharp Spices, Dark Bread, Yeast, Light Fruit and Raisin. Very Smooth for a Winter Beer. Nice Warming Creeping Up After you Have Already Decided to Sit Down and Relax With this Brew. Very Solid Winter Warmer.

Thanks to Ughsmash for the bottle. Pours cloudy orange with a large head. fair lacing. Aroma of light brown sugar, dark fruit, orange and coriander. Tastes very sweet with a little warmth. Makes a pretty good holiday brew.

11.2 oz bottle- Cloudy dark copper body witha hege tan head. Aroma of a typical belgian, sugar, malt, and fruits. Taste of malt, fruit, and a full bodied palate for a belgian strong ale. Nice tasting brew.

Dark bown with the usual belgian style lively light brown head. Aroma of dark fruits like prunes. Has a pretty acidic flavor along with a fruity mouthfeel and a smooth tickling palate. No doubt an enjoyable brew, but pretty basic for a belgian dark style.
