Sweet, slightly toasty bready caramel malty aroma. Body starts with a sweet biscuity dark caramel maltiness with a touch of earthy hops. Finishes slightly warming. A decent Belgian strong ale. Hazy to cloudy copper/brown color with a tall head that settles to a rocky, actually more moundy, beige head. Over-ripe fruit (think about a fruit salad that has been in the refrigerator too long) with cherries, bananas, pears, apple, pineapple and grapes. Some caramel and alcohol creep in. Brown sugar flavor start, with lightly toasted malt, raisins, cookie dough all wrapped in a rusty can. The metal seems to keep coming the longer you sit on this one.
