Bottle (from Bitter Virtue). Slightly hazy. Sweet malts fruity caramelised sugar. Some alcohol showing. Odd earthy yeast flavours in mouth. On the whole too sweet for me.

Hazy amber body with a small off-white head. Sweet caramel and candi sugar aroma. Dry caramel flavor with a light candi sugar edge and some fruity hints with a lot of spice background.

On tap at Mugs. 5 oz samples. Wow. One of my favorites of the day. Dark golden in color with a nice medium head. Spicey hoppy yeasty aroma. Cherry notes. Coriander notes. Malty and spicey flavor. Sweet tasting. Fig and raisin notes Moderate acidity. Strong tasting. Very nice beer. Very drinkable.

5 oz pours at Mugs Belgian Blast. Been waiting to try this for a while. Had it once from the bottom of the keg though. In general this is a strong, sweet, spiced belgian. It pours red with no head and pretty still. Aroma is strong, alcoholic sweetness, cherry, and winter spices. Not strong on the spices but present. Taste is pretty similar. I know a lot of my fellow RBers didnt enjoy this but it was nice for me.

Thanks to Joebrew for this rare treat. Rerate. Alcohol better hidden. Malty with some fruit. Good looking, light brown and opaque, thick with sediment. Some malt and fruit, more alcohol, and light spices.

Cellar’s Tasting. Dark golden color with a medium head. Spicy aroma of hops and maybe a pinch of corriander. The taste is mainly alcoholic. Dry malt and just a vague bit of hops. Meh, it’s okay, but I can hunt down more flavorful winter brews than this.

Faint coriander, vaguely spicy aroma. Medium bodied, appley. More vague spiciness. Dry, and a bit alcoholic. Dates and figs as well.
