This Belgian Strong Ale pours a slightly cloudy medium amber color from a 33cl bottle. Small sized white foamy head. The aroma is sweet malts, over-ripe dark fruit and some spices. A medium bodied BSA. The malts are caramel, dark fruits and fairly sweet. The hops are earthy. A touch spicy, grain of paradise and coriander, but mostly sweet malts and fruit. Nice carbonation. Hides the 11% alcohol very well. Would make a nice beer to sip on a cool winter evening. Mouthfeel is full. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is sweet.

330 ml. Hazy, deep garnet with a creamy two finger head that lasts all day. Aroma is clove and other earthy spices, dark fruit cake with icing, and some slight bitter herbs and alcohol. The well balanced flavor has all the same elements, plus some citrus and spicy yeast. Medium-heavy body is smooth and dry.

Fruitcake maltiness and fresh apple pie spices thoughout, with some citrus acidity, and a big enough malt background to hold it all together, and still remain balanced, and cover up the high ABV. Impressive little beer for the holidays.

Darker amber coloured beer with off white head and few carbonation. Malty little fruity aroma. Little creamy and bitter palate. Finish is malty.

Hazy, red-brown with a huge, creamy and lasting head. the aroma has sweetness, light roasted malt, spice and light citrus. The flavour has a light sweetness, notes of citrus, spicy yeast, roasted malt and the finish has a citrussy bitterness. It’s quite charming, and you do not feel the 11% in the flavour.
