Bottle:   Milky straw, very cloudy and dirty, huge fluffy off-white head, sticky lacing.   Clumps of sediment float about.   Nose seems woody, but it also has a sort of garage smell.   Like automotive fluids spilled on the exhaust manifold and then burned off.   Hmmm, I cannot say that about any other beer I have had, burnt manifold.   Slightly sweet, pale woodiness, but it is quickly overshadowed with that exhaust manifold flavor.   Its not heavy, but its there enough to make me wonder just what in the hell I am still drinking this stuff.   Certainly doesn’t feel like 10%.   Moderate to full body and mouthfeel.   Maybe if a beer gets too woody it becomes very garage like?   Seriously, hot exhaust manifold sums this one up pretty good.

A rich orange color, and murky in the glass. An explosive, rocky head erupts during the pour. Lots of aromas of citrus and pineapple, along with yeast and the esters on the alcohol. There’s also a pungent sourdough quality that also plays on the palate. The bitterness is good, the fruit is also present, but the hot alcohol finish kind of blows apart any delicacy that made the beer interesting at the beginning.

Bottle. Pours a cloudy honey brown color with a gigantic fluffy white head. Not overly hoppy to the nose, actually fairly balanced b/w the hops and malt. Flavors of clove, banana, and citrus. Definitely bitter. Medium bodied. Interesting. Not bad.

Bottle. Pours an almost clear yellow beer with an offwhite head. The aroma is malt, fruit, hops with grape, citrus and grass. The flavor is close to the nose but with some notes of alcohol. The palate is bitter and sweet. Overall the impression of this beer is a mess.

Dark golden/amber color, abundant and persistent white head. Cloudy liquid, with a lot of yeast in suspension. Light aroma: mixed fruitness, not very long, a bit of herbs and alcohol. Interesting taste, heavy sweet, and medium bitterness in the end. Medium to full body, sticky texture, average carbonation and astringency. Not so well balanced in my opinion, too much strong contrast between sweetness and the rest.

Bottle ( 330ml ). Very hazy pale gold with a huge lasting fluffy white head, light lace remnants. Dry, sharply yeasty floral aroma, not too sweet - promises bitterness, smells Belgian. Lovely taste of tropical fruit, pungent floral bitterness, and medium alcohol - dry, dry, dry. Light body, quite astringent, modestly carbonated - a long dry floral finish. Nice - doesn’t make me think "IPA" or "IIPA" but nice.

The aroma is malty, yeasty, and hoppy. It has a grassy hops, a sweet malt, and a beefy like yeast. The appearance is cloudy gold with a large head. The taste is like the aroma with a really bitter finish. The palate is thin. Overall an interesting interpretation of an IIPA.
