Aroma is quite tart and softly berryish. A bit of honey and light wheaty flavour. Fairly watery palate with a bit of wheaty spiciness. Tart and lightly spicy. Pretty decent. downender (2644), Bristol, Gloucestershire, England
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Dec 8, 2007 330ml bottle. Opaque reddish brown with a slight head. Tart aroma of sloes and yeast. Flavour was again tart, almost to the point of sourness with a dry finish. Ok as a one off, but lacked some balancing sweetness. KnutAlbert (3217), Oslo, Norway

Cloudy red. All right, some sweet and sour elements here which are nice. It is mostly a gimmick beer, but if I had a few bottles, I’d try it with duck or turkey. BartC (402), Lichtaart, Belgium

| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Oct 8, 2007 Bottle. Reddish brown with a white head. Aroma of berries, a little yeast, sweetness and a little grape. Flavour is sweet with berries, but too ligh to make a lasting impression. kapusta (85), Dover, Delaware, USA
| 2.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Aug 1, 2007 Pours a murky brownish/red color. Slight fruit flavor, that you cannot really pinpoint what it is. Sour, somewhat like a weak Flemish Red, but not really. The guy at de bier temple told me this was uncommon, so that is what urged me to buy it. Glad I tried it, but not really that good. Papsoe (15109), Frederiksberg, Denmark
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Jul 23, 2007 (Bottle 33 cl) Pours a very cloudy, reddish amber with a small, dissipating head. Slightly tart and berryish head. Medium body and rather dry - and also in the flavour you get a slightly tart sensation - but no real malty feel. And no real bitterness either - just this very dry tartness. A nice and refreshing summer beer although it’s actually a winter seasonal. 210707 janubio (159), Spain
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | May 19, 2007 Bottle, 33 cl. Pours a pale cloudy yellow colour. Good head with big bubbles that fades quickly leaving some lace. Smell of apples and plums, but mostly barnyard, or horseblanket. Very strong. Flavor is full and completely sour. Mouth is vinegar, and if you are able to pass the acidity, you can find some fruity taste of cake. Difficult beer, too much acidity. I may have to try it some other time and review it.
