Amber with a red hue and the head is slightly reddish golden, quickly disappearing but leaves a nice lace. The flavour has clear notes of sloe berries, but also of malt and a brief sweetness. If I were mad about sloe berries, I’m sure I would love this one.

Bottle, 33 cl. Peach - orangey golden, small white head. Sweet floral medical nose (heather), definitely candyish in nature. Light-medium bodied. Sweet aftertaste dry.

Bottle from Utobeer (rate from 24.06.06). Nice colour - almost opaque orange with creamy white head. Strong fruit aroma, which is hard to place - clearly my first encounter with a sloeberry. Texture is dense and syrupy. Taste is tart, sweet and sloeberry-ish. Almost identical to smell. Very dry. Resembles a lambic...a much stranger version. Not bad, but not my cuppa.
