The flavour has clear notes of sloe berries, but also of malt and a brief sweetness. If I were mad about sloe berries, I’m sure I would love this one. dolemike1 (1129), Jeannette, Pennsylvania, USA

Nice colour - almost opaque orange with creamy white head. Strong fruit aroma, which is hard to place - clearly my first encounter with a sloeberry. Texture is dense and syrupy. Taste is tart, sweet and sloeberry-ish. Almost identical to smell. Very dry. Resembles a lambic...a much stranger version. Not bad, but not my cuppa.
