(on bottle)Dosen´t look good(unclear and light orange) dosn´t smell good(not if you don´t like old, wet walls and green apples, that is) but the flavour and mouthfeel was something else. The sloeberries binds your palate up real fast, only leaving little room for the spicy, pepperish, somewhat citric flavours to set through.

Big fan - a bold citric and sweet taste in a 6% beer. Would be lovely for the summer. Frothy head atop a yellow body - totally yellow - until the end when it turns pink! Nice sweet-tart taste. Chock full of ingredients - I always get the feeling with Johan’s beers that he throws SO much material into them. Perfect tingly yet not too light feeling in the mouth.

Muddy orange, almost pink colour. Big white head. Sourish sloe aroma. Lively but thin mouth-feel. More sourish sloe in the flavour. The first few sips are o.k. but after awhile it gets just too much.

Bottle - At Brugs Beertje, Bruges, Belgium Rocky, white head. Fair lace. Sparkling, amber body. Fruity, lightly yeasty aroma. Lightly sweet, moderately bitter initial flavour. Lighty bitter, finish. I like this fruit beer.

Bruges Beertje, Brugges 2004: Billed as a strawberry beer by the waitress but damned if I smell any. Poured a yellow orange with a large white head. Orange/Lemon aroma. Has a very sour citrus flavor with a bit of a flowery taste and sour tomatoes. Made me pucker. Decent but not something I’ll drink again.

Weird nutty aroma, with eggs there too. Cloudy copper/gold. Sweet start, slightly tart & citric. Nice, though strange
