The sloeberries binds your palate up real fast, only leaving little room for the spicy, pepperish, somewhat citric flavours to set through. Schroppfy (1813), Ohio, USA

Frothy head atop a yellow body - totally yellow - until the end when it turns pink! Nice sweet-tart taste. Chock full of ingredients - I always get the feeling with Johan’s beers that he throws SO much material into them. Perfect tingly yet not too light feeling in the mouth. pilsnerrogge (1792), Finspång, Sweden
| 2.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 8/20 | Feb 18, 2005 Muddy orange, almost pink colour. Big white head. Sourish sloe aroma. Lively but thin mouth-feel. More sourish sloe in the flavour. The first few sips are o.k. but after awhile it gets just too much. diabel (1372), Aarschot, Belgium

Sparkling, amber body. Fruity, lightly yeasty aroma. Lightly sweet, moderately bitter initial flavour. Lighty bitter, finish. I like this fruit beer. MrRomero (1934), Nolanville, Texas, USA

Poured a yellow orange with a large white head. Orange/Lemon aroma. Has a very sour citrus flavor with a bit of a flowery taste and sour tomatoes. Made me pucker. Decent but not something I’ll drink again. kook (2034), Perth, Western Australia, Australia
