Alround rating: Sweet, appley, fruity esters, but balanced in any way shape or form, however its does have some drinkability to it, which seems strange as its the strongest of thier beers yet get the highest rate of the brewery of the day? fonefan (11525), VestJylland, Denmark

Fruity sweet aroma of pears, plums and raisin. Flavor as indicated by the aroma plus a nice shot of hops and a hint of the alcohol. Very well balanced though. Would never have guessed the high alcohol percentage. thebeertourist (2793), Oslo, Norway
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jul 1, 2008 Bottle branded as Halloween. Appropriate amber colour with a stable, medium head. Wonderful raisins aroma with some nuttiness. Fruit, notably raisins, heading towards a dry finish. Though delivering less than promised by its nose, it is still a great beer. The bottle may be a few years old so this is a beer that also stores well.
