cgarvieuk (4159), Edinburgh, Scotland Oct 7, 2009 Bottle at home ... amber ... white foam head ... bready orangy nose ... caramalised sugers ... some yeast ... little toffee... syrupy ... little pepperyness ... sugery ...some citrus peel ...ok Beerlando (2280), Orlando, Florida, USA Sep 22, 2009 Bottle labeled as Speciaal Halloween. Pours a lightly hazy, rusty amber hue.
Copious streams of effervescing bubbles screech towards the surface,
feeding a steady head of smooth, taupe colored foam. Clingy foam tries to hold fast on the glass, but fails, returning to the body. Aromas are sweet, driven by golden raisin and stewed nectarines, with perhaps a bit of caramelized, condensed peaches. Flavors are also heavy, sweet, and dessert like, mostly showing condensed, dried fruit like raisin, fig, and plum. The body is big and syrupy, yet lively carbonated and
somewhat prickly. Eh, this one is just a sugar bomb. It’s decent in very small quantities, but i won’t be clamoring for more any time soon. ChristianScheffel (4402), Odense, Denmark Jul 27, 2009 Orange with a big white head. Aroma of yeast with a hint of citrus. Very sweet, yeasty flavour patrick767 (2016), fort wayne, Indiana, USA May 28, 2009 bottle at Delirium in Brussels - Pours hazy straw colored with a thin white head. The flavor is sweet with caramel and lots of spice. It’s bubbly on the palate and has some light hops bitterness in the finish. The high abv is mostly buried. It’s alright though I was hoping for a bit more. Pinball (2678), Allerød, Denmark May 14, 2009 as t smisje halloween, from plan-b
