A hazy golden beverage with a thick big bubbled white head. A yeasty coriander aroma, sweetish and herbal, with alcohol coming out strong. In mouth, crisp and spicy, light perfumey bubble gum, some lingering bitterness, very dry. Medium bodied.Bieropholie import, BB 2011.

Bottle. Pours a hazy orange colour with a big creamish off-white head. The aroma is fresh with caramel, yeast, ripe fruits and some alcohol. Good mouthfeel. The flavour is rather sweet with alcohol, yeast, malt, some spices and ripe fruits. Sweet yeasty fruitish finish. Good brew. Nice label with tre munk dogs each having a huge right eye.

Flaske.

I am extremely grateful to JoeMcPhee who brought this gift back from his trip to Belgium. Thank you, gracious, spa-ceba.
Pours with a small head and a golden color. The beer has absolutely no visibility through it. The head doesn’t stick around long and turns into a halo lacing. Aroma starts with the house yeasty sweetness, doughy and light banana. Then there is a strong herbalness/spiciness. Taste is dominated by this spiciness and not very sweet at all. The flavor ends with a slight shot of alcohol. Aftertaste is a lightly bitter green-organic thing. A medium body with an average carbonation. Here is the interesting part. The bottom of the bottle really darkens the beer, looks like a muddy, dirty golden. It masks over the spiciness a bit and adds some light citrus and a bit more of the sweetened dough flavor. It’s this bottom of the bottle that really hints at the glory this beer can have if aged. I am not overly in love with this beer but if I got a chance I would definitely put a bottle away.
33cl bottle, best before 2012, Rodenbach Grand Cru glass.

Tap at t’Biertje Brugge. Very pale golden beer, aroma is very spicy. Bright citrusy aroma, pineapple, apple, and citrus. The malts are quite lean but there is a soft spiciness to it. Warm cinnamon and nutmeg with a light yeasty character. Earthy and fruity. Quite nice.
