Can, 500 ml
Appearance: The head is initially rocky, frothy, large, giving a very good lacing, colour of head is snowy white, head is mostly lacing what is quite surprising for such a quality of beer and such a low price. Body is very clear, transparent, well filtered, colour is bright gold but almost like pee. Lacing of head is amazing for such a beer, again! Body is light to medium, rather yellow, body looks thin and flat. head is diminishing very slowly.
Aroma: Metallic, wattery, some watered malts, almost no hops in aroma, sweet, malty, cream, rather weak, watered.
Flavour: Very wattery initially than some hint of hops and malty sweetness on palate but so weak that it is dominated by also not strong alcohol note and accidic note from carbonation, a hint of rubber, light to medium accidic, initially and finally, through all the beer content, not pleasant, definetely too watery and water of not a best quality as feel it. Flavuor seems sickly (like no flavuor), some sugar pimp, artificial, water domination.
Palate: Body is light, texture is watery, carbonation is soft, finish is chalky, astrigent is rather non existant due to water content, alcohol feel is almost non existant, pees.
Quack-Duck (1698), Bodensee, Germany May 1, 2008 can, received from a friend. Clear pale yellow, medium-sized head. Thin to medioum-bodied, hints of lemon. Slighlty malty and hoppy, watery. Slightly grainy. Refreshing beer. Radek Kliber (3302), Toronto, Ontario, Canada May 30, 2006 Can. This is pale gold lager with large pour but it was fizzy and thin. Light aromatic, slightly grainy mineral aroma. Soft bodied a bit light but comfy mouthfeel. Light grainy character. Same soft finish. Light but clean and smooth. omhper (10438), Stockholm, Sweden Sep 8, 2002 Pale golden. Papery nose. Almost thin but reasonably dry with short flavour.
