Jun 22, 2005 Sample from a 12 oz bottle at the Mondial. Dark, mostly clear caramle color with minimal lasting head...brown sugar and a trace of malt discernible in the dull nose...just a touch of caramel, smoke in the body, no real yeast character, light rather sour finish...absolutely forgettable.

Jun 14, 2005 Caramel, bananas and an odd hint of cola in the nose. Clear, dark copper-brown with light ring of large-bubbled, off-white head. Caramel and banana flavours are short and dry with some herbal tones. Light body is watery in texture with moderate carbonation. Sampled at Mondial de la Bière 2005.

Jun 7, 2005 Hazy brown pour with big off-white head. Aroma is caramel malt, some dark fruit, hopcit, spice. Tastes caramel malty, with fruit, spice, and a slight tart hopcitric finish. I like this style, and this one is good.

Jun 6, 2005 Very nice cloudy brown body topped with a thick and lasting off-white head. Good yeasty aroma with spicy, sweet and fruity hints. Unfortunately, taste is not as strong and complex as the aroma is. It ends with an average bittersweet finish.

Aroma is yeast and malts.
Flavor is strong sweet malt, citrus and light yeast.
