acrdz (4362), Boulder, Colorado, USA Dec 22, 2003 Close to black with a brown head. Weird sour coffee aroma. Medium bodied
and with a regular sweet flavor for a oatmeal. OK. Sham (1846), Seattle, Washington, USA Dec 21, 2003 Dark pour with ruby edges, a nice tan head and left some good lacing. Sweet and roast malts are the mainstay of the nose, oatmeal is hanging around then. Flavors are where the chocolate and roast malts come out the most. Hops are around as well. Oily palate and a small hoppy finish. Good stout. harlequinn (2746), Tacoma, Washington, USA Sep 24, 2003 Dark and deep, with a milky brown head that is nice and puffy, with alot ofcreamy goodness hidden away in this stout. A nice nutty roasted taste, with that cold, bitter coffee aftertaste. A nice full chewy mouthfeel, great flavor. BückDich (4558), Boise, Idaho, USA Sep 18, 2003 Black color with dark brown head, excellent lacing and creamy head. Milky burnt toast aroma with notes of chocolate & coffee, very creamy. Flavor is slightly smokey with oak and sweet roasted chocolate. Overlaying coffee smooths everything over with complexities. Smoky chocolate finish which is moist and sweet. A nice oatmeal stout with excellent flavors. Aged a bit and this would be perfect.
