Sham (1846), Seattle, Washington, USA Aug 6, 2004 Dark bronze with a foamy off white head and good lacing. Slightly caramel notes in the nose. Some roast. Small citrus hops. Flavors are of caramel and roast, some nutty tones, and bitter hops. Very light body and a creamy palate. Finishes bitter and roasty. BückDich (4558), Boise, Idaho, USA Jul 29, 2004 Dark ruby amber color with thin head/lacing. Aroma is very malty and thin, dry with some toasty caramel malt. The flavor is watery, bland, light toasty malts & faint crisp hops, very dry finish. A metallic tail, fairly unique low carb instead of sacrificing the residual sugars. They just kill the gravity & up the caramel malts, too bad they don’t up the hops too.
