Taddington Moravka

Tap at the King William IV, Nottingham. I was looking forward to trying this lager after Stonch and others recommended it so highly. However, I’m not much of a fan. For me, the overwhelming impression was of a malty sweetness, but in a cloying sort of way like a children’s breakfast cereal: Kix, maybe, or Sugar Pops. I’ve certainly had better keg lagers from both American and European breweries.

A Mes rate: Tap at the Wenlock.
Cloudy unfiltered lager looks. Standard lager like nose with musty and dusty notes. Cardboard, corn and cereal with some mint (oh dear). Really not too great.
