EKGoldings (442), Radford, Virginia, USA Dec 7, 2007 Bottled version of Taiwan’s Tsingtao beer renamed because of the mainland China’s version. Whatever you do, drink this cold. Taste is lighter and beer more refreshing. Nondescript light lager but drinkable. Found in 711s across Taiwan ... way, way better than "Taiwan beer", which is pretty vile. Pyobon (170), Sydney, Australia Dec 4, 2007 Can (485ml). Pale yellow with minimal rapidly dissipating white head. Little aroma, but pleasant - bread, grain maybe. The palate is watery and fairly lightly carbonated. The flavour is light but OK, initially light sweetness with lightly bitter finish, with perhaps a slight metallic tang (can?). It’s by no means a good beer, but it’s drinkable. asedzie (412), San Francisco, California, USA Apr 22, 2007 Updated: Apr 24, 2007600 ml. bottle. Small white head, yellow color. Lots of rice and adjunct. Some sweetness. A a little skunkiness. Watery. A little bitterness which gives it some flavor. Overall it is drinkable, weak and inoffensive.
