Poured a medium amber hue with a nice white head. Nice aroma of resinous pine notes with some citrus notes to it. Flavor was well balanced a nice spice hop note mix with vinous and caramel malt notes. Finish was crisp and slightly dry. Good IPA.

Dec 18, 2009 Bottle. Amber-orange pour in a lacy/creamy white head. Crystally sort of nose, a little indistinct. Very sharp taste, fruits are nudging past citrus and in to strange candy – Smarties? Strange. Medium body. Floral and very flavorful, enough malt to support but I find it hard to get fully behind it.

Dec 12, 2009 Bottle thanks to ksbeerkid: Pours a transparent brass orange with a smalish, clingy-lacing froth of white head. Has a semi-sweet grainy toasty nose with some earthy grassy hop character. Starts with decent fullness and some lightly sweet toasty caramel malts with a slightly resiny grassy hop character before a drier, crisp bittersweet finish. Seems like more of a British style IPA than American, but still pretty well-balanced and drinkable.

Dec 6, 2009 Bottle thanks to Cavie. The look is clear, golden in color, and has a white head. The smell is citrus, grapefruits, grapefruit juice, and hops. The taste is hops, some light bitterness, and light citrus.

Dec 3, 2009 Aroma - basic hop, heavy fruit, light citrus;
Appearance - deep copper, slightly opaque, very thick head, great lacing;
Taste - faint malt front, nice hop blend into the back, mild tang finish;
Palate - crisp mouthfeel, good body;
Overall - extremely balanced for the style, well built.

Great color and aroma.
The taste starts well and finishes with nothing. Very smooth but overall flavorless. It has something but needs some work.

Nov 12, 2009 Pours a hazy orange with lots of bubbles and a good head that leaves plenty of lace. the aroma is citrusy and floral with a mild grapefruit juice character. Sounds like it smells good doesn’t it. For whatever reason nothing about this beer seems to blend at all, this is terribly apparent in the aroma and follows with the flavor. There is a perfumey sort of floral flavor and a good deal of bitterness and mineral character. The beer displays a weird candy sweetness in the back ground, and despite the bitterness there is a particularly low hop profile in this beer especially for the style. Not my thing.
