Tallgrass Wheat

Bottle. Pours a cloudy yellow gold with a nice productive head. Nose is nice, wheaty, citrus and sweet. Flavor is thin in the beginning, but improves as the beer warms. It moves toward creamy but doesn’t really get there. Very nice wheat flavors, a smidge tar, but some sweet banana. I ended up eally liking this beer and would totally have it again. Thanks theisti very much for the opportunity to taste this one.

Bottle thanks to unclemike. Pours a very cloudy light orange color and a medium white head. The aroma is full of citrus and wheat, but also a kinda out of place smoke. The flavor was mostly a dry and full wheat with some light citrus, some apricot, and again a meaty and smoky flavor. Unique in some ways. Not bad at all. A full and smooth mouthfeel.

Excellent Wheat Beer. It was lightly strained which allows you to taste the ingredients used to make the beer. The cloudy look told me that this was going to be a good beer. Nicely done.

12 oz bottle Poured a cloudy yellow with a thin head. The taste of oranges sttod out the most. No aftertaste this was a really great beer made in the little apple,.

Strong nose of yeast, wheat and grass. Robust wheatiness with more clove and yeast than what you’d expect from an American Wheat but still lacking in fruit or banana notes like a Hefe. Pretty decent for the style. Smoke, cracked pepper and spice notes in the finish. Never had anything from this brewery before and this is a nice start.
