Tamanohikari Yamahai Junmai Ginjo Sake

(on bottle)I paid the alot for this bottle at the local sushi-place, so this time; I´m rating a skae. Compared to others sakes I´´ve had, this was much more mild and the sent + tsste was much more balanced, witch ended up in a good feeling of warmth and not too much oxidation, witch I really hate about sakes; often smells and tastes like very old miller.

Light colour and crystal clear. Strong alcohol aroma, slightly spicy (nutmeg, sichuan peppercorn) with a little grapefruit and something odd like diluted durian...yeah that's what I was hoping for :(

Soft body, leaning towards fruitiness. Lighter in palate than the nose would indicate. Rough-hewn flavours and a muddled finish...this really never comes together. Unrefined.
