Ibrew2or3 (1756), Safety Harbor, Florida, USA Aug 3, 2008 Pours hazy gold with a hue of straw and bright white head. The aroma has notes of grains and wheat to start as well as a bit of apple tartness, interesting, and malty and grainy sweetness in the background. The aroma really seems to have a lot going on in there along with notes of citrus too. The taste begins moderately sweet and fruity with notes of apple, cantaloupe and turning very lemon like by midway. As the finish approaches the last bit of sweet maltiness, grainy malts and wheat fades away leaving tartness from apples, lemons and grapefruit juice. Ends dry. Rogueone (365), I F&ckin’ hate those guys from, Ohio, USA Jul 15, 2008 Flavor here reminds me more of a Kolsch than a Belgian white. Aroma has some fruit present - maybe raspberry - and has a light grassy aroma behind some citrus. Flavor is crisp, reminiscent of everyone’s favorite commercial "green bottle" beers. Sharp, grainy finish. Not bad for a 95 degree day. fishingnet (855), Brandon, Florida, USA Jun 28, 2008 Tap. Pours a very hazy pale peach with a small white head that leaves tons of protien haze sticking to the sides of the glass. Aroma of wheat, light yest spice, and more wheat. Taste is the same as aroma. Medium full creamy mouthfeel with a mild amount of bitterness and a very wheaty finish. The bottom of the glass had a huge amount of starchy wheat chunks. Different.
