boboski (1095), USA Jan 2, 2007 Draft at TBBC. Hazy mahogany pour, cream colored head. Aroma is all banana esters, slight touch of sweet cream and pineapple, fantastic weizenbock scent. Flavor is less banana and super creamy malts, very balanced. Well masked alcohol is hardly noticeable at all. Palate is incredibly creamy. This beer had a very pleasant finish, long and memorable. Well done bock beer. The brewer really dialed in on this one. Brock_Landers (714), Panama City, Florida, USA Mar 5, 2006 Big cloudy brownish pour, not too much of a head though. Nice weizen nose, lotsa spicy clove and sweet maltiness, some banana notes too. Flavor is more of the same, just more intense...nice medium body mouthfeel. Not sure where they’re hiding the 9%...very good stuff. fatty (363), Perkiomenville, Pennsylvania, USA Jan 24, 2006 Hazy caramel/copper body with thin ringing head. Banana and bubblegum aroma. Spice, cream, cinnamon flavor. Carbonated palate. crizay (1070), Brook Park (was Tampa,FL), Ohio, USA Dec 24, 2005 Updated: Jan 11, 2006Cloudy brown/mahogany sort of color, nice thick head, it had a nice banana and clove spicy flavor, I would compare this to others I’ve had that are way more expensive such as St. Bernardus. Overall it’s pretty good. Retorp (2154), Tampa, Florida, USA Dec 9, 2005 Very nice aroma. Bannana and sweet cream with prefumey alcohol. Cloudy amber/brown with a full two finger thick head. Lot of bannana and mild cloves in the fore. Very thick mouthfeel. Very good, but could have a wider flavor range.
