| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Dec 11, 2007 On tap @ TBBC. Slightly cloudy caramel color with small bits of white head. Aroma is an even mix of heavy grainy malt and a mild, dull earthy hop presence. Not a whole lot of alcohol on the aroma. Taste is very malt-forward with the hops coming through a little on the finish. Could’ve used more hop presence on aroma and taste, but not a bad BW. BigMilly8 (376), Holiday, Florida, USA
| 2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 2/10 | 3/5 | 5/20 | Nov 17, 2007 From tap at brewpub : Pours clear dark red-copper with big lacing. Way much alcohol, very poorly hidden, in fact, it isnt hidden at all, its in your face. Tastes like a shot. Wont have this again. fishingnet (1045), Brandon, Florida, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 11/20 | Oct 16, 2007 Tap. Pours a slightly hazy amber with a small off-white head that leaves minimal lacing. Aroma of caramel, sweet malt, and alcohol. Taste is the same as aroma with a slightly spicy finish. Medium mouthfeel with a moderate amount of bitterness and a good amount of alcohol warmth but never hot. Not very complex but very drinkable. Miver (566), WillowStreet, Pennsylvania, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Oct 9, 2007 On tap at the brew pub. Poured Mahogany color. Taste was certainly sweet upfront with a mild alcohol finish. It was quite drinkable, and did hide the alcohol fairly well. I would have like to see more hops in this brew. Nice name however. mgumby10 (1858), Jupiter, Florida, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Jul 29, 2007 Pours a caramel/copper color, with a small off white head. Smells of syrupy caramel, sweet malts, and some dark fruits. The taste has a good dose of cinnamon that attacks your palate right away. The alcohol was definitely there as expected. The mouthfeel was very syrupy and seemed to be loaded with flavor. I enjoyed this one too. amc3000 (46), houston, Texas, USA

| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Apr 22, 2007 Draught at brewpub. Rotten banana aroma, which is all wrong for a barley wine. Clear dark amber with no visible carbonation. Off-white head. Excellent lace. No haziness or carbonation. Very nice color. Sweet, high alcohol. Not a barley wine. Totally missed the style. Threw sugar at it. More of a Belgian strong. A decent beer.
