Draft at brewpub. Poured a copper color with a medium white head that was lasting and produced good lacing. Good balanced malt and hopd aroma. Medium body. Heavy hoppy flavor with a more balnced sweet finish.

Caramel, malt aroma. Poured reddish brown. Tasted malty, not as strong tasting as I thought it would be.

I always order this after I have had a Porter or two and it seems like such a crazy high alcohol beer by comparison. The alcohol is noticeable in the aroma and taste, but it isn’t unwieldy. Almost tastes to me like a strong belgian wit. Has those bannana clove flavors, but with a touch of citrus as well.

The only thing to say about this is alcohol it was pretty gross other than that, and was slammed fast to get it over with.

On tap at the brew pub. Poured a medium copper/amber color with an off white head. Aromas and tastes of citrus, grapefruits and caramel. Sweet and malty with some hops at the end.

Cask - Hazed light amber, creamy white head. Sweet nose of grapefruit, pine sap, caramel, and buttered toffee, with an underlying boozy tone within. Good hops / malt combo work well together to provide decent balance. Full bodied, pillow soft carbonation, slightly sugary bitter citric finish. This one will warm you up quick. Very nice.....

Cask... Hazy, apricot-colored ale with a small, creamy, white head. Cirrus lacework. Toffee, caramel and grapefruit nose. Decently balanced between the alcohol, hops and malt. Nice, warming booze hits the stomache softly. Full-bodied and creamy with very soft carbonation. Lengthy, alcoholic, bitter-sweet finish.

The wife and I had this on draught at Tampa Bay Brewing Co in Ybor City, FL Pours a hazy, orangy, amber with a small white head. Nose if pine, grapefruit, with maybe a touch of other fruits. Taste is alcohol, banana, and fruity malts, and with a lot of hops. And just in case you missed them there’s a healthy dose of hops in the finish too. Not too shabby....I like it!
