Oct 21, 2009 On tap at the brewpub. Copper-amber color and served with a thin head. Nicely hopped with plenty of grapefruit and a little resin and orange peel. Doughy malts provide more than just support. Crisp long-lasting bitter finish. Very good.

Oct 21, 2009 Growler provided by jcwattsrugger at Moosetoberfest, thanks John. Poured a slightly hazed orange with an average sized white head that quickly and totally disipated. Aroma of citrus rinds, honey coated toast, grassy hops and slight fruit. Flavor was excellent and loaded with lots of bitter fresh citrus hops. Finished super bitter with lots of carbonation for a growler. Good stuff.

Tap: Nice flowery and citrus hops balanced pretty well with malt flavor and bitterness.
Cask: Similar, but the hops were more subdued and the carbonation was obviously more subtle and silkier.

Pours amber, white head.
Aroma and flavor, bitter hops, some warming caramel and citrus, spice elements with some pine.
Also some hints of lemongrass making this one a refreshing IPA.
Hints of grapefruits with a light bitter finish.

Aug 28, 2009 Pours orange. Nose is citrus, lemon, grapefruit, pine, sweet malt. Flavor is Citrusy, grains, sweet caramel. Good hop presence. Nice IPA.
