Commercial Description:
Brewed as a traditional India Pale Ale. A highly hopped, medium-bodied, higher alcohol ale. This is a true hop-head beer. Generous portions of Northern Brewer, Centennial and Cascade hops complete this beer.

Sample @ brewpub. Dark gold with slight haze, white head and lacing. Nose is a lovely floral hop bouquet against a cereal grain canvas. Very nice. Balanced but assertively hopped. Nice dry, citrusy and citrus peel flavors and mild all at the same time. Excellent malt character and a lovely lingering finish.

Pint on tap at the brewpub. The aroma takes on a more herbal and earthy character. Lighly pine. Not too aromatic or complex. Transparent light copper body with a smallish off-white head and small lacing. Well, plenty of hops here. Starts pretty grainy, which is then followed and dominated by herbal, dry, bitter hop flavors. One-dimensional. Reminiscent of a West Coast IPA from a place like Big TIme Brewing or New Old Lampoc. Unfortunately, I prefer my IPAs to be balanced, and this is far from it.

Draft at the brewpub with Beerlando. Citrus hops are en masse in the nose with some vanilla. Flavor is fairly light, but still full of bitter hops. Some light malts round off the flavor well. Overall, a light, but still good, IPA.

Draft at the brewpub. Pours a clear, golden orange-amber color with a lasting, frothy, cream colored head. Thick rings of foamy lacing coat the glass well. Aromas are of light caramel malts and hints of dry cereal grains, with ample notes of orange blossoms and sharp grapefruit hops. Flavors follow suit, well balanced but substantially hoppy. The caramel malts are assisted by a drop of honey in taming the striking grapefruit and orange hop notes. Long, lingering hop finish. Substantially bodied and balanced on the tongue, there is no annoying astringency, which to me is a sign of a quality IPA. Nice brew.

Another let down, made me think the taps were just over pressured and the bartender didnt know how to handle it. Lots of overflow and way too much head. The taste was hoppy and sticky but it didnt taste natural. Like the bitterness was seperated from the beer somehow. At least it had a decent ABV.

Draft at the brewpub. Pours a nice copper color with a thin white head. Spicy earthy hop aroma with a bit of a malt presence and BIG. Big hop taste very earthy and grassy with a nice malt balance. Very good ipa.

Sampled at the Tampa Lowry Park Zoo WaZoo Festival. A very bitey and almost spicy IPA. Nice balance!

Had on tap at the brewery. Nice golden orange pour. Citrus and hops flavor.
