Pours a clear orange with a three finger off-white head that lasts leaving great lacing. Aroma of citrus hops and light sweet malt. Taste is the same as aroma. Medium mouthfeel with a good amount of bitterness. Not very complex but a very well done IPA. AndyHasFins (24), Tampa, Florida, USA
| 4.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 5/5 | 9/10 | 5/5 | 18/20 | Aug 30, 2007 Had on tap at the brewpub in Ybor City...and possibly the best IPA i’ve ever had. Extremely full-flavored, excellent head, and a beautiful, almost Weizen like dark, orange, color. Damn delicious beer. mgumby10 (1858), Jupiter, Florida, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Jul 29, 2007 Pours a clear, light orange with a small off white head. Fairly mild hop aroma, which I was hoping would be more pronounced. The hops definitely make up for it in the flavor, where they seem to stand out. Get a good dose of grapefruit in there, slight bitterness, and a fairly fruity finish. Left a slightly bitter aftertaste on the lips. Not terrible, but was hoping for a little more from this beer. | 4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Apr 22, 2007 Draught at brewpub. Excellent hop aroma; not fruity, perfumy like Tampa One Night Stand Pale. More piney. Nice. Clear, brownish amber. Not hazy as one would expect for an IPA. Off-white head. Not bad piney. On the hoppy side of balanced. Solid; probably better when a little colder. I had this as part of a sampler and by the time I got to it, it had warmed a bit. Very good eepa. CaptainCougar (5530), Rockville, Maryland, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Apr 21, 2007 On tap at the brewpub 1/1/07: Pours a transparent bright copper bronze with a well-lacing white head. Aroma has a fresh citrusy hoppy character and a touch of toasty pale malt. Body starts mildly sweet and pale malty with a touch of caramel, some grainy flavor, and an earthy bittersweet finish. Could use more flavor hops. Quake1028 (633), Tampa, Florida, USA
| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Apr 2, 2007 Draft at the brewpup. Orange pour with a sudsy white head. Aroma is full on hops, with some citrus notes. That familiar Cascade smell that I have grown to loathe. Medium mouthfeel, good carbonation. Flavor is bitter hops, pine and metallic notes. Finish is long, bitter and metallic. Didn’t work for me. PorterPounder (3148), Tallahassee, Florida, USA
