Commercial Description:
Brewed as a traditional India Pale Ale. A highly hopped, medium-bodied, higher alcohol ale. This is a true hop-head beer. Generous portions of Northern Brewer, Centennial and Cascade hops complete this beer.

GABF 2005. Hazy gold with a big, white head. Very light pine/grapefruit aroma, some butter in there as well. Lightly bitter flavor, even less malt to mesh with. Rather watery, thin palate. It didn’t work for me.

Poured orangish amber, nice white head. Great hop flavor, some honey, with a very crisp finish. Awesome beer.

I don’t get the pine everyone is talking about. Maybe a little, but mostly I smell citrusy hops maybe even hop oil. Citrus is there in the flavor, but again not super strong. Great mouthfeel almost thick. I always go back to the porter, but this is a nice break.

Golden pour. Not bad at all some sweet malts coming through with the hops that are slightly piney, floral, and sweet.

On tap at the brew pub. Poured a darker amber color with an off white head. Aromas and tastes of citrus and pine. Light bitter finish with a light sweet balance.

Draft - Deep clear coppery orange, thick creamy white head. Left coast nose predominantly of pine sap, white grapefruit, with a slight hint of sweet caramel. Flavor matched aroma with sharp piney hops leading the charge. It had just enough sweet malt to keep balance. Medium to full bodied, prickly carbonation, drying bitter-sweet finish. Underrated without question....
