Oct 10, 2007 Had this brew many times while in Tampa. Pours a nice frothy head with a dark copper color. Very nice, sharp hop nose with some citrus overtones. Goes down very easy. Hop flavor is balanced and not too raw for me. I love this ipa more than dogfish head 60min IPA

Aug 30, 2007 Had on tap at the brewpub in Ybor City...and possibly the best IPA i’ve ever had. Extremely full-flavored, excellent head, and a beautiful, almost Weizen like dark, orange, color. Damn delicious beer.

Nov 9, 2002 Updated: Sep 23, 2007Excellent light orange/amber hue with malty aroma. Perfect balance of rich malt and hop. Really like the grapefruit flavoring that comes on as an ending note, rather than as an overpowering majority of the flavor as in some IPAs. Outstanding beer.

Mar 29, 2006 On tap at the brewpub. Poured orange with a white head. Aroma was sweet citrus, mostly lemon and orange. Some hops were present in the aroma, but it was all about the sweet citrus notes. The flavor was dominated by the sweet citrus flavors with solid hops backing them. This one had a very smooth malt finish. Similar to a Bells Two Hearted.

Feb 3, 2005 Draft - Deep clear coppery orange, thick creamy white head. Left coast nose predominantly of pine sap, white grapefruit, with a slight hint of sweet caramel. Flavor matched aroma with sharp piney hops leading the charge. It had just enough sweet malt to keep balance. Medium to full bodied, prickly carbonation, drying bitter-sweet finish. Underrated without question....

Oct 10, 2005 Updated: Feb 20, 2009Better at the brewery than the GABF, where I first had it. Hazy light amber. Spicy hop nose with orangey, grapefruity notes. Rich creamy body and insistent hop bitterness. Wood & citrus goodness. Very dry. Delicious.

Apr 22, 2007 Draught at brewpub. Excellent hop aroma; not fruity, perfumy like Tampa One Night Stand Pale. More piney. Nice. Clear, brownish amber. Not hazy as one would expect for an IPA. Off-white head. Not bad piney. On the hoppy side of balanced. Solid; probably better when a little colder. I had this as part of a sampler and by the time I got to it, it had warmed a bit. Very good eepa.
