| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Feb 17, 2009 On tap at the brewpub in Tampa Bay. Poured a clear gold color with red highlights and a one finger white head. The aroma was mainly hops, floral and citrus. The flavor was a bit bland. A solid malt base was present, but the hop profile was weak, and there wasn’t much of a finish. This was a decent drinking beer, but for an APA, there wasn’t a dramatic hop finish. | 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jan 4, 2009 Draft at the brewpub. Pours a clear medium golden color. A foamy, off-white head settles to a wispy film with a thin edge. Jagged, skinny lines of lace mark the glass. The aroma starts with a fresh burst of ample floral and citrus hops, orange rind and grapefruit standing out. A lightly toasted base of pale and caramel malts provides a nice backdrop for the hops to shine. Likewise, flavors are substantially hoppy for the style, more floral than citrusy, with sufficient toasted malts to balance things out. The finish is lengthy and bitter. Medium bodied, well carbonated, and easy going. This is a very nice little pale ale. dchmela (1440), Orlando, Florida, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Sep 12, 2008 Draft at the brewpub. Yellowish gold pour. Nice malty aroma with a touch of hops. Taste is malty and has touches of hops that balance well. Clean and tasty, I thought it was a good pale ale.
