The aroma is very malty with biscuits and citrus hops. The appearance is pale gold with a small head. The flavor is like the aroma, simple but very effective. The palate is thin. Overall this is one of this brewers best beers.

Draught at brewpub. Fruity, flowery hop. Not piney at all. Nice. Crystal clear gold body with an off-white, creamy ring. No haze as you’d expect from a true ale. Excellent lace. Well done! Good creamy hop presence. Good balance. I like this brew a lot. Underrated.

On tap at the brewpub 1/1/07: Pours a transparent bronze with a wispy-lacing white head. Aroma has some mild, fresh piny hops and a touch of pale malt. Body starts with lightly sweet, earthy maltiness balanced with a crisp, bitter hoppy finish. A pretty decent APA.

Draft at the brewpup. Cascade hops continue to be my nemesis. Aroma of hops, spice, citrus. Thin mouthfeel. Nice lacing on the glass. Flavor is spicy citrus and hops. I just can’t get into the Cascade flavor. Brings the score way down for me personally.

On tap at the brewpub in Ybor City (Tampa). Medium golden pour, white head with good lace. Faint sprucey aroma. Flavor has some light fresh citrusy notes but nothing much else jumps out - not all that exciting. Clean, even mouthfeel and finish/

Draught at TBBC. Strong citrus hop nose. Pours clear amber with thin white head and nice lacing. Hoppy opening, dry and lingering bitter sweetness. Somewhat sour dryness aftertaste

Draft at brewery. Pours clear copper with lasting thin white head. Weak aroma that’s vaguely sweet. Flavor is fresh and even between some caramel and sweet malts to a light grapefruit hoppiness. It ends with more of a grapefruit tartness. Decent pale.
