Bright golden amber with a nice thick head. Slightly woody, caramelly nose. Has a woody hop taste, nice bread balance, creamy body and a dry finish with a zesty citrus note.

(Tap): Clear golden with small white head. Aroma is medium sweet, medium grapefruit. Taste is sour grapefruit, medium intensity of bitterness. In addition to the grapefruit, the finish also is slightly herbal. Medium body. (cask): Other than the minimal carbonation, and smooth palate, there's pretty much no difference from the tap.

On tap at the brewpub 1/1/07: Pours a transparent bronze with a wispy-lacing white head. Aroma has some mild, fresh piny hops and a touch of pale malt. Body starts with lightly sweet, earthy maltiness balanced with a crisp, bitter hoppy finish. A pretty decent APA.

Draft... Clear, lightly golden ale with a small, whispy, off-white head. The aroma is lightly citrusy and lightly malty with suggestions of orange peel, grapefruit, pine and butter. The well-balanced flavor is of butter, butterscotch, lemon and grapefruit. Medium-bodied and ultra creamy with lively carbonation. Finishes crisp and clean. Tastes mor like an EPA than an APA. Less bitter than the True Blonde Ale.

Draft at brewpub. Poured a clear amber with an average creamy white head that did not diminish and produced good lacing. Heavy hoppy aroma. Medium body. Full hoppy flavor with a short bitter finish.
