Pint at Brewpub. Pours a nice bright clear golden copper with a nice lasting head and sick lace. Aroma is nice fresh citrus and herbal hops blended together with an earthy zesty lightly spicy rye character. Flavor is crisp with earhty bready rye, which works nicely with the fresh zesty citrus hops. Clean refined, and moderate bitterness. Nice Pale Ale.

Draft (Tampa Bay Brewing Co.)… Pre-C&P’sLYFO Throwdown… Clear golden ale with a large, fluffy, white head. Good retention… eventually leaves lots of nice lacework. Grainy nose of rye and spicy hops. Medium-bodied and a touch creamy with stinging carbonation. Bitter, dry, rye flavor with an intense hop bite. Crisp, bitter, dry finish. A bit too hopped up for my little ol’ palate.

On tap at the brewpub. Pours slightly hazy copper with gold edges, over flowing frothy light tan head and some lacing. The head smooths out into semi firmness with the odd bubble here and there. The aroma is very light with a little bit of citrus, lightly roasted malts and vague sugar sweetness. The taste starts smooth and thin. By midway all at once sweet malts, citrus hops and a nice rye twang all sort of join together and take the experience down toward the finish. Into the finish a tad bit of roasty malts rise up and head into the after taste with citrus hop flavor, a little bit of bitterness and some rye in tow.

On tap at TBBC. Pours amber with a thick white head. Aroma is hoppy with some fruit notes that reminded me of strawberries, and rye. Taste, orange, rye, malts with a chewing gum like mouthfeel. Floral hops and rye. Thick and creamy palate.

Tap. Pours a clear copper with a one finger off-white head that lasts leaving good lacing. Aroma of rye, more rye, pale malt, and light floral hops. Taste is tons of sweet spicy rye with a touch of caramel and a decent amount of grassy hops. Medium full mouthfeel with a mild to moderate amount of bitterness. Very good.
