Aroma of malt, yeast and a bit of fresh citrus. Light-bodied; Shallow taste of malt and fruits with not much following behind. Aftertaste is light and refreshing, although a bit too short of real taste. Overall, probably the worst of the bunch from the brewpub, but that isn’t a horrible thing...since the beers were mostly good. You could pass this one up and feel good about everything else though! I sampled this beer on draught at Tampa Bay Brewing Company’s Brewpub in Tampa (Ybor City), Florida on 10 November 2007. nqualls (1429), Nashville, Tennessee, USA Feb 17, 2009 On tap at the brewpub in Tampa Bay. Poured a clear amber color with a thin off white head. The aroma was mainly of caramel, with earthy notes and a hint of nuts. The flavor was weak. The hop profile was strong, but the beer was lacking a solid malt base. Overall an average offering. GodOfThunder (855), Orlando, Florida, USA Jan 5, 2009 Draft at the brewpub. Clear amber color. Smells of sweet caramel malts. Taste is more hoppy than anything. Bitter, with a nice malt background and caramel sweetness. Very sticky lacing left down the glass and a nice finish. Solid amber.
