BeerVirgin72 (582), C-Bus, Ohio, USA Jun 15, 2008 Had on tap at brewery. One of my top three favs from this pub. Nice amber pour with sweet malty flavors up front with just a hint of a hop finish. Nice. 1FastSTi (2388), Glendale, Wisconsin, USA Jun 10, 2008 Tap at the brewery. Pours to a deep red/amber body with a thin white head. The flavor is a decently malty beer with an interesting specialty grain. Subtle hop flavors let this beer be what it was set out to be. An American Red ale. The palate is malty and it works well. gonzo46and2 (108), Tampa, Florida, USA May 18, 2008 Good balance of the malt sweet and hoppy bitterness. I can’t wait to come back to the TBBC. kiefdog (419), Tampa, Florida, USA Apr 13, 2008 On tap at the brewery on 4/5/08. Pours a dark amber color with a thin, quickly dissipating head. Smells of ripe fruit and malt. Tastes similarly with a chocolaty, slightly bitter finish. BBB63 (3800), La Porte, Indiana, USA Mar 24, 2008 Tap at brewery: Amber hue with a good head and lace. The aroma has notes of soapy and musty wet grains, caramel, floral hops and is quite weak. The taste starts sweet and fruity with a caramel malt character, not much depth. The mouth feel is soft and thin. This beer is blah and paint-by-numbers amber ale, don’t waste your time.
