Commercial Description:
An American amber ale crafted by using the finest American pale 2 row malt available, combined with Munich malt, Crystal malt and a small amount of roasted barley for its trademark redish hue. The ale is then seasoned with Columbus boiling hops, plus Cascade and Tettnang for flavor and aroma.

On tap at the brewpub in Tampa Bay. Poured a clear amber color with a thin off white head. The aroma was mainly of caramel, with earthy notes and a hint of nuts. The flavor was weak. The hop profile was strong, but the beer was lacking a solid malt base. Overall an average offering.

Draft at the brewpub. Clear amber color. Smells of sweet caramel malts. Taste is more hoppy than anything. Bitter, with a nice malt background and caramel sweetness. Very sticky lacing left down the glass and a nice finish. Solid amber.

Draft at the brewpub. Pours clear, with a medium reddish amber body. A small, foamy, off-white head leaves wet, droopy lines of lacing on the glass. Crystal malts are first to greet the nose, followed by balancing floral hops and trace amounts of citrus. Flavors mimic the aroma, sweet and lightly toasty caramel balanced well by floral and grapefruit bitterness. Medium-light bodied, smooth and well carbonated. This is just a simple, by the book amber ale that is well executed and quaffable.

Had on tap at brewery. One of my top three favs from this pub. Nice amber pour with sweet malty flavors up front with just a hint of a hop finish. Nice.

Tap at the brewery. Pours to a deep red/amber body with a thin white head. The flavor is a decently malty beer with an interesting specialty grain. Subtle hop flavors let this beer be what it was set out to be. An American Red ale. The palate is malty and it works well.

Good balance of the malt sweet and hoppy bitterness. I can’t wait to come back to the TBBC.

On tap at the brewery on 4/5/08. Pours a dark amber color with a thin, quickly dissipating head. Smells of ripe fruit and malt. Tastes similarly with a chocolaty, slightly bitter finish.
