Sweet taste balanced nicely by big hop punch. Smooth finish. Sampled on draught at Tampa Bay Brewing Co in Ybor City, FL unclebleen (620), California, USA

| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Dec 22, 2003 Draft at Tampa Bay Brewing. An average sized ivory head that was creamy and smooth with fine-large sized bubbles that were mostly lasting. The body was uncarbonated and transparent with an orange hue. The nose was malty and hoppy with a bitter and hoppy taste. The mouthfeel was bitter and hoppy and this was a medium bodied beer with excellent lacing on the sides of my glass. thedm (3836), Fort Wayne, Indiana, USA

This draft brew was sampled at the brewery in Tampa Florida and was served to us by Jim McCann the brewer and Vicky Owen the owner. This brew poured a large head of foamy fine to large sized long lasting bubbles that left behind a transparent red brown colored softly carbonated body and a good lace. The aroma was that of a mild malt hop and the mouthfeel was initially biting and lingered into the finish. It had a mild caramel malt hop flavor. MilkmanDan (1940), Eagan, Minnesota, USA
| 4.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Dec 1, 2003 Amber. Great nose, hugely malty, big caramel/toffee character. Flavor is very malty and rich, lots of butterscotch. Some earthiness gives good depth. Hops at end give a good balancing nip. Nice palate, creamy and full, nicely sticky in the mouth.
