Commercial Description:
An American amber ale crafted by using the finest American pale 2 row malt available, combined with Munich malt, Crystal malt and a small amount of roasted barley for its trademark redish hue. The ale is then seasoned with Columbus boiling hops, plus Cascade and Tettnang for flavor and aroma.

Red color and malty aroma with excellent balance in flavor ... nice grapefruit overtones.

Amber. Great nose, hugely malty, big caramel/toffee character. Flavor is very malty and rich, lots of butterscotch. Some earthiness gives good depth. Hops at end give a good balancing nip. Nice palate, creamy and full, nicely sticky in the mouth.

Nice copper red in colour. Great head. Lots of carbonation. Went well with their IPA gumbo.

A very tasty and impressive amber ale. Nice balance of malt and good hop presence. Amber flavor was solid with a sense of sweetness, but enough warmness in the ABV to do the job.

Amber in color. Aroma: caramel, light grapefuit and floral hops and some toasted malt. Taste: is well attenuated, with grapefruit, caramel, fresh bread, toasted malt. A moderate amount of roast comes through in the flavor late, providing some additional complexity to an otherwise dull style. Another clean, well made beer from TBBC.

On tap at TBBC. Pours a golden amber with a creamy lacing off white head. Aroma of toasted grains, toffee, a touch of roast and fresh hops. Flavors of the same a nice citrus/toasty mix.

Pours a red amber color with a small white head. Aroma is caramel with some light hop notes. Flavor is caramel sweetness with some citrusy hops coming through. Medium bodied and quite smooth. Good for the style.

On tap: This had the expected red color, and a nice caramel flavor. One of the better reds I've had outside of Wisconsin.
