Commercial Description:
An exceptionally light colored ale fermented at lower than normal temperatures for a smooth, clean finish. You can expect a light bodied ale with a slight hop nose. This is in the style of a Kolsch that originated in Koln, Germany.

Tap. Pours a slightly hazy golden with a small white head that fades and leaves no lacing. Aroma of light sweet malt and a hint of spicy floral hops. Taste is the same as aroma. Medium mouthfeel with a mild amount of bitterness. Very refreshing.

Pours a fairly clear gold color, with a small white head. Nothing exciting at all in the appearance. Smells of very mild citrus, with maybe a small wheat character? Overall, very light aromas. Tough to pull much out. The taste had a decent little spice character to it, but nothing awesome. Easy to drink, a touch of citrus, and sweetness to it in the finish. Not much else to say about it.

On tap at the brewpub 1/1/07: Pours a transparent golden with a frothy, well-lacing white head. Aroma of lightly pale malt and a hint of European hops. Body starts faintly sweet with full carbonation toward a more bitter, earthy finish. Fairly well-balanced and not bad for a blonde ale.

Draft at the brewpup. Golden pour with a nice, creamy white head. Aroma of hops with not much else going on. Smells watery, if that can be believed. Thin mouthfeel, lightly astringent. Fore is hops and some citrus notes. Finish is watery hops. Not a favorite.

On tap at the brewpub in Ybor City (Tampa). Light golden pour, white head. No aroma found. Flavor is bland and metallic. Some grassiness - not much else. Musty finish. Least favorite of my sample of nine.

Draught at TBBC. Sour nose, uncomplex, some malt presence. Color is very clear golden with patchy, unattractive white head but heavy lacing. Interesting, flavorful malt profile. Basmati rice well-balanced with hops. Drinkable.
