Bright gold. Thick head. Breezy malt aroma. Clean, lightly spicy. Creamy body. Balanced, refreshing, clean. Very well made for a golden.

Draft... Clear, yellow ale with a small, creamy, white. The malty nose is of spent mash, toffee and citrus fruit. Lightly malty flavor with toffee and light butterscotch. Well-hopped, medium bitter with lemon peel. Medium-bodied and creamy with fizzy carbonation. Finishes crisp and fairly clean with a little butter. Very nice for the style.. either a great batch or this beer’s underrated.

On tap at the brewpub 1/1/07: Pours a transparent golden with a frothy, well-lacing white head. Aroma of lightly pale malt and a hint of European hops. Body starts faintly sweet with full carbonation toward a more bitter, earthy finish. Fairly well-balanced and not bad for a blonde ale.

Draft at brew pub. Clear amber with a medium white head that also lasted. Good sweet small hoppy aroma. Light to medium body. Light sweet hoppy flavor with a medium sweet finish. Great lacing again. Every brewer needs a lght beer, just not my style.

Tap at brewery: Straw hued with a small head and spotty lace. The aroma has notes of grassy hope, lemon, floral esters and wet grain. The taste starts with twangy acidity over pale bready malt with some medicinal notes. Slightly bitter on the back end. The mouth feel is watery and thin, short finish. Okay for the style, for the masses.
