Commercial Description:
An exceptionally light colored ale fermented at lower than normal temperatures for a smooth, clean finish. You can expect a light bodied ale with a slight hop nose. This is in the style of a Kolsch that originated in Koln, Germany.

Orange/yellow hue with light malt aroma. Good koelsch ... a little more body would have made it near perfect.

At TBBC. A hazed golden our wht a gooey white head and lace. Light hops and malt. Very full flavor with a hint of almost citrus flavor. Full palate with good carbonation. Nice clean drinker with a very fine finishing bitter. An above average beer for the style.

Bright gold. Thick head. Breezy malt aroma. Clean, lightly spicy. Creamy body. Balanced, refreshing, clean. Very well made for a golden.

Bright gold. Hoppy nose. Flavor is crisp and a mite sugary-sweet. Hops at end give a bit of bite. Palate is nicely creamy. Not a kolsch fan, but this was pretty enjoyable.

Sample at brewpub. Pours a nice clear hay blonde with a nice lasting white head- good lace. Aroma is almsot a doughy slight toasty warm pils malt and herbal fresh hops. nice fresh pils malt flavor- crisp clean lightly floral in the hops and a crisp very clean aftertaste- light bitterness is still noticed. Good.

Tap at the brewery. Light pale gold body with a nice white head and really nice lacing. The flavor is pale malts and a crisp saaz hop. Perhaps a little Tettenang too? The aroma is really light. Some noble hops. A nice blonde/pilsener, but didn’t remind me of a Kölsch.
