Aroma is banana esters/bubblegum, clove, and a nice dose of wheat. Taste is a nice balance between banana and clove, with a creamy body that makes this balanced and very easy to drink. Finishes spicy with lingering fruity esters and a good amount of wheat tang.

The brewery makes two versions of this beer, a spring/summer brew and a fall/winter brew with extra wheat. I had the latter, and the wheat is easily noticeable but the beer remains smooth. It is very clean and doesn’t overdo it. I would have this beer anytime. DragonStout (1380), Pataskala, Ohio, USA

And everybody at the table that had a sip agreed with me. Blech! It sat half-finished before ordering something else. hopscotch (5537), Vero Beach, Florida, USA

Spicy, fruity nose with notes of Bazooka® bubblegum, lemon, under ripe banana, smoke and lots of clove. The flavor is mainly tart with lemon and quite spicy with a heavy clove phenol. Medium-bodied with a 2%-milk mouthfeel and restrained carbonation. Tangy, spicy finish.
