sfontain (500), Columbus, Ohio, USA Jul 22, 2007 12 oz. bottle from Kroger. Pale straw color with a small, white, bubbly head. Aroma grainy and sweet, much as the flavor. Light and slightly sticky. Barely better than Budweiser. Poor.
blutt59 (624), Dallas, Texas, USA Aug 16, 2008 bottle, pours yellow , nose is faint, flavor is mostly sprite and some caramel sugar, finishes thin and watery jordanb (19), Virginia, USA Aug 12, 2008 Poured at 37 degrees. Perfectly normal in terms of aroma and appearance: transparent yellowish-gold and a modest, highly carbonated white head. Very little aroma. There was a definite honeyish sweetness at first, though not at all cloying or overwhelming. Very little of the snappy finishing dryness characteristic of lower-quality beers of its type. Nothing special, just a solid golden lager, and for the price an excellent go-to beer. SpringsLicker (1812), Tennessee, USA Aug 6, 2008 Clear gold with a fleeting white head.
Sweet grainy aroma.
The flavor follows the aroma with some light hops.
I’ve had worse. MaltDawg (287), Richmond, Virginia, USA Aug 3, 2008 12 oz bottle from local grocery store. Aroma of pale malts. Clear golden with small fine white head. Grainy pale malt flavor with touch of spicey hops.Almost has a baltic quality. Light body with a touch of hop bitterness in the finish. astrofrk (37), Knoxville, Tennessee, USA Jul 7, 2008 Golden. Small head. Aroma: Corn husks. Flavor: Grain and metal. I’m not a fan of Moe’s beers. Metalic finish.
