Aroma of nuts, caramel, soap and flowers. Flavor was a bit unexpected. Pretty dry; earthy and nutty. A bit on the hoppy side for the style. Nice palate. Very drinkable, albeit a bit strange. Malty with a bit of floral/soapy finish. A pretty solid beer. PuckLSHS (101), USA

I happened to try the cask conditioned the night I was there and stuck with the Alt the entire night. Fantastic aroma and great malt flavor. The color and consistency were perfect! The dry finish also made the beer an excellent dinner companion. bu11zeye (5530), Frisco, Texas, USA
